The Best Location

Milos is one of our favorite Greek islands. It’s simply beautiful and has gorgeous virgin water. It’s in the family of Cyclades islands and a few-hour ferry ride from Athens. It’s a volcanic island and has unique beaches and rock formations.

The hotel is located in Pollonia, a picturesque fishing village on Milos Island. The views from our practices leave you feeling at peace and content. Our hotel has an infinity pool, amazing staff who feel part of our Eyia Retreats family, and an incredible breakfast, which is included in your retreat. They also serve food & drinks all day. We will have the luxury of peace and quiet, but only be a 5-7 minute walk from the beach and several restaurants for coffee, lunch, dinner, ice cream and evening walks.

Your Time in Milos

Day 1: Welcome to Milos

Welcome to Milos! Settle into our beautiful hotel and enjoy the panoramic views. Perhaps enjoy the pool, have lunch,  take a walk, or enjoy a beverage. Once everyone has arrived and settled, we will circle up for our Welcome Ceremony followed by our Welcome Dinner.

Day 2: And so it begins!

Begin your first full day in Milos with an optional sunrise. We will begin the day with morning movement & meditation. Now you’re feeling so good and alive.. you will receive your daily journal prompt. Off to breakfast! Breakfast is a special time in Milos. We have an incredible breakfast spread and the best views. Your mid-day is up to you. Perhaps you have your in-room massage scheduled or you will walk down to the beach or enjoy the pool. The day is yours! We will meet again for a circle-up to reflect and a relaxing yoga flow followed by our Seafood dinner experience.

Day 3: Beach Adventure Day

Today is the day for our Beach Adventure & Exploration! After our morning movement, we will meditate on the beach to the sound of the small waves from the beautiful cove of Pollonia. We will enjoy another slow breakfast before leaving for our Beach Adventure! We will explore one of the best spots on the island for a few hours. After sun & swim time, we will share a group lunch. You can then relax and enjoy the rest of your afternoon before our evening circle up and restorative yoga.

Day 4: Enjoy Island Life

We begin with another beautiful morning of movement & meditation. The views, fresh air, and morning sounds never get old! After our favorite breakfast (by now it will be your favorite too), you will have free time to enjoy your room, pool, have your in-room massage, or continue your adventure around the island. We have a special evening yoga class planned followed by Group Dinner.

Day 5: Boat Day!

The fun continues with one of our favorite days of this retreat…our sailing adventure to Kleftiko! We begin with light movement and meditation followed by breakfast. We leave for our Sailing Adventure where we will explore Kleftiko and experience the best swim in the most beautiful turquoise waters. Lunch, snorkeling, drinks, the best captain, and loads of fun included!

Day 6: Reflect & Enjoy

Your last full day in Milos will be filled with another amazing morning session down by the beach. We want you to truly take it all in. Enjoy each and every moment and follow the nudges for how this day will unfold. We will join together for our Closing Ceremony and finale dinner. 

Day 7: Until We Meet Again

Our final morning movement and meditation before we close our retreat container. Depart Milos with expanded hearts!

Katrina Paraskevopoulos

Katrina Paraskevopoulos, is a Greek-American who has always felt that Greece is her happy place in the world. She grew up traveling to Greece in the summers. It was pure bliss. Greece has the ability to heal every worry, relieve deep tension, bring comfort to your belly, and leave a big smile on your face. She wants to help spread the bliss, peace, and healing of Greece with all of you.

Katrina is also a holistic life and transformational coach and runs Kat Health Fitness. She helps people find the home within themselves and live a life they truly love. She supports people to build a balanced lifestyle, create and sustain new habits that uplevel their life, ditch the diet mindset, and develop a positive & unstoppable mindset. 

She is also the founder of Eyia Wellness, supporting companies and organizations to build a positive and engaged culture through wellness.

Katrina is a life-long learner. She loves personal and spiritual development and supporting others on their journey inward. It’s the most challenging and most rewarding journey you will ever embark upon.

Fran Dargaville

Fran Dargaville is a down-to-earth Aussie with a passion for health, travel and nature.
She’s a Yoga Teacher and Nutritionist, and believes a healthy life is truly holistic – incorporating movement, nourishment and joy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Greece open for travel?

Greece reopened to full tourism on May 14 2021. As of May 1, 2022, all travelers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result. We advise you to review the following page travel.gov.gr periodically for any changes. We will keep you up to date on any changes as well. No tests are required to enter Greece at this time.

Are flights included?

Flight and transfers are not included in your booking. The only transfers that are included: adventure day and sailing day to and from the hotel.

How much are flights to Greece?

May is a wonderful time to visit Greece. The weather is beautiful!

If you book early, flights are very resonable compared to peak summer. We are available to support your booking! Please reach out to info@eyiaretreats.com.

How many people are going to be on this retreat?

We can accommodate 8-14 people on this retreat. We want to keep the group small for a relaxing and intimate experience.

Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is open to people of all genders and identifications.

If I’m going alone, can I book a double room and be paired up with someone?

Yes! We can certainly pair you up with another solo participant so you can take advantage of the double occupancy rate.

If you plan to come with a friend, both you and your friend must reserve a double occupancy booking and please mention in the note when you sign-up who you are paired up with. If you’re a solo retreater and we cannot fill your room, we will ask you to upgrade to a single occupancy.

I'm nervous that I won't know anyone!

Trust why you’ve been called to this retreat. We will also have a private retreat WhatsApp Group so you have a chance to connect with everyone before the retreat!

What level of fitness is required?

None! Both the fitness and yoga sessions will accommodate all fitness levels and flexibility.

How do I get to Milos?

Eyia Retreats can support your entire booking to Greece. If you wish to arrive early or extend your trip to Greece our team (official travel agents) can support you making your travel logistics easy! Email us info@eyiaretreats.com for travel planning support.

First, fly into Athens International Airport then:

1) Take a high-speed ferry from the port of Piraeus. The high-speed ferry takes approximately 2.5 hours from Port of Piraeus. Ferries are also available from other islands if you plan to extend your stay and explore other islands in the Cyclades. The high-speed ferry is 2-5 hours from Santorini & Mykonos.

Ferry options: Aegean Speed Lines , SeaJets, Minoan Lines

Depending on your arrival, you may need to stay the night in Athens and take an early ferry the next morning.

2) Fly to Milos. This flight is approximately 30 minutes from Athens International Airport

If I have to cancel my trip, is any part of it refundable?

Deposit is non-refundable. Dates to keep in mind:

If you cancel on February 11, 2023 or before: payments refunded less deposit
If you cancel between February 12 – April 11, 2022: payments refunded only if we can refill your spot
If you cancel after April 12, 2023: payments will not be refunded
Do I need to bring any equipment?

We recommend bringing your favorite yoga mat (bring as a carry-on), but if you don’t have one, no problem! Please specify at the time of booking if you plan to bring one or not.

Are there any planned activities?

Yes! We have a beach excursion and an amazing sailing day planned!

This retreat was just what I needed! I hope to do this again!

The Art of Living Well!!! was amazing! Kat made everything easy and smooth. In addition to the retreat I requested transportation on arrival, an additional night prior to the retreat and at the end of the retreat which was arranged. I enjoyed the activities from sight seeing, to an olive oil tasting, wine tasting, cooking class, and art, with enough down time to relax or shop on your own. We (some of us) started each day with a light stretching/yoga session. The accommodations were luxurious with out being over the top, the food was delicious and a little too plentiful! This retreat was just what I needed! I hope to do this again!

I found the whole retreat experience meaningful. It is difficult to say which particular experience had the most impact, as they all intertwined. Over the course of the week, the activities brought to light areas that I need to focus on in my life. I am full of gratitude that I had the opportunity to attend the retreat in Páros with wonderful women who are now new friends of mine! I needed the time to focus on myself, which will only strengthen my relationships with my family, friends and others.

Katrina’s Milos Retreat was an epic reboot to my fitness and state of mind.

The challenging daily workouts were well balanced with calming/relaxing yoga sessions that helped close the days. The hotel location was a perfect perch above rocks and an ocean of inspiration. Having been to Greece before, I was surprised by the natural beauty of the island. Its unique beaches served not only as fun places to spend the day, but also as places to be mesmerized by the beauty of nature. I enjoyed each day whether I was swimming in crystal blue water, exploring the local town shops and history, or partaking in an art class. And, of course, the amazing Greek food did not disappoint! Following a difficult year, I left the retreat feeling recharged and I’m excited to end the year focusing on being healthy. Thanks for the awesome experience!

It felt great to start each day in beautiful Milos with meditation and physical activity and end each day with sunset yoga – practices that I once thought were very difficult to incorporate into my daily routine and now am excited to bring home with me! This retreat taught me more than I thought possible in just a short week, I cant wait for the next one!

I’ve been on the Eyia Retreats in Milos, Greece twice now because I love it so much! This last year I brought my mom and it was such an amazing experience. Not only do you spend time reflecting on yourself, your goals and your health, you meet so many amazing people that you remember forever. I left feeling refreshed and motivated to come back home and take control of my life again. Kat is an amazing retreat leader and so detail oriented. Although it’s a health retreat, it’s not restrictive and it’s so so fun! Would recommended to anyone and everyone!

I’ve been on the Eyia Retreats in Milos, Greece twice now because I love it so much! This last year I brought my mom and it was such an amazing experience. I have only positive things to say about Eyia Retreats Company and I am forever thankful that all the stars aligned for me to go on the 2021 Fit Body & Mind Retreat. Not only did I meet amazing people, see breathtaking sights (like Kleftiko and Sarakiniko), drink delicious coffee, and try some of the best meals, but got to disconnect from the day-to-day and really focus on myself. This trip was filled with blissful moments, mindful journal prompts, deep meditation sessions, and healthy movement. Thank you for leading us through daily workout classes, meditation, and yoga. You both put a lot of thought into each class and provided alternatives to fit everyone’s level of comfortability. The host, Kat, was extremely helpful before and during the retreat. She was always available to answer any travel questions, provided amazing guidance, and recommended places to stay if we were arriving early or staying longer. During the retreat, she constantly checked in on everyone, led with kindness, and put so much thought and detail into every activity/event.

The Kat Health Fitness Greece retreat was simply an amazing experience
I met Kat randomly through Instagram & she is 100% real and kind! She made the booking process easy, and responded quickly to all my questions prior to the trip. The Greece retreat was my first solo trip, and it exceeded my expectations! Morning meditation & workouts on the beach, and yoga with an ocean view was breathtaking.. literally while running on the beach! Kat & Fran were great at instructing each class with modifications or ways to challenge yourself. There was nothing but positive vibes the whole week with an amazing group of girls! It truly was a no judgement zone as I did whatever I wanted, when I wanted! Being a working mom and wife back home I was the most relaxed I’ve ever been during this retreat in Milos, Greece. I am forever grateful for this experience, and can’t wait for another #KatHealthFitness Wellness Retreat!

I am truly blessed to have been able to attend Katrina’s 2019 Wellness Retreat on Milos: A week of fun, friendship and fitness, held at a beautiful location in Greece.
Katrina absolutely went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She handled the reservations for our hotel, greeted everyone with individual swag bags, and even walked down to Pollonia very early one morning to select the perfect freshly caught fish for our group dinner. We each experienced an incredible in-room massage, too! Each morning began with meditation held either pool-side or at the beach, followed by fitness workouts. At the end of each day we enjoyed relaxing yoga. Both the fitness and yoga routines were geared for all levels (flailing beginner to standing on your head advanced). And there was plenty of time to relax, read, lay by the pool, or explore the island each day. Efcharistó, Katrina, for the opportunity of a lifetime!

Being my first ever wellness retreat, I didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, it was amazing!
The location, the food, the people were all great and Katrina made everyone feel so comfortable. I came in wanting time to learn to relax and I can honestly say, with the help of meditation, yoga, and workouts, I have never had such a relaxing, rejuvenating week in my life. Can’t wait to go again!
