Travel Updates
Greece reopened to full tourism on May 14 2021. We advise you to review the following page travel.gov.gr periodically for any changes. Currently, no testing is required for entry. We will keep you up to date on any changes as well.
Payment Terms
Full payment must be made within 60 days of the retreat start date. There is a $1000 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. Prices are based per person. Prices do not include flights.
In case travel restrictions are applied to the guests’ country of residence at the time of the retreat, and the guest is restricted from joining the retreat, the guest shall receive a voucher* equal to the full amount paid or refund.
Travel and Medical Insurance
Please check with your medical insurance provider on your coverage abroad. It is your responsibility to organize suitable travel and/or health insurance. You acknowledge that Eyia Retreats cannot be held liable if your lack of coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially or otherwise.
Guest Cancellation Policy
Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Check your specific retreat page for cancellation policy. Fees are determined by the following schedule unless otherwise noted on the specific retreat web page:
- If you cancel 90 days or more before your retreat start date, you will be refunded the full retreat amount (less non-refundable deposit)*
- If you cancel between 66-89 days before your retreat start date, you will refunded (less non-refundable deposit) only if we can fill your spot
- If you cancel 65 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.*
*Please check the cancellation policy on the specific retreat you’re interested in.
Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.

Eyia Retreats Cancellation Policy
While we don’t anticipate canceling a retreat, if Eyia Retreats must cancel or change a scheduled retreat date for any reason whatsoever, you’re entitled to transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat (either scheduled or at some future time). Alternatively you may request a refund of your applicable payment.
Eyia Retreats is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
Passports, Visas, Documents
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates for any country to be visited in connection with a retreat.
Booking
If you’re a solo traveler looking to book a double occupancy shared room, we will do our best to pair you with another guest. If we are unable to fill the double occupancy room, you may need to upgrade to a single occupancy room. In that case, we will do our best to give as much notice as possible.
We reserve the right to deny any guest booking at any time prior to the start date of a retreat and provide a full refund or retreat credit.
During your Trip
Eyia Retreats reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, and in the event Eyia Retreats determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the retreat, it may, without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the retreat.
Eyia Retreats will carry no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the retreat prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant, which is not included on the retreat itinerary.
Force Majeure
Eyia Retreats cannot accept liability, where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected, or you otherwise suffer any loss, injury, death, inconvenience or damage as a result of circumstances amounting to ‘force majeure’. ‘Force majeure’ means any event or circumstances which we or the supplier of the services in question could not foresee or avoid. Such events and circumstances may include, acts of God, actual or the threatened war, insurrection, riots, strikes, civil action, decisions by governments or governing authority, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes of schedules or operational decisions of air carriers, terroist activity, or the threat thereof, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, epidemic, pandemic, illness, physical injury, quarantine, medical or customs or immigration regulation, delay, or cancellation, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside of our control. In the case of a Force Majeure event, we will not be responsible for any refund, although if we do receive any refund from our suppliers, we will provide that to you.
I acknowledge and agree
General Waiver
You acknowledge that during a retreat you participate voluntarily in any and all activities arranged by the retreat organizers, and insofar as legally permissible, surrender your right to any cause of action against Eyia Retreats arising from any loss or damage to person or property that occurs during a retreat.
You understand that as it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to your participation in any of the yoga classes, workouts, programs, workshops or any activity offered by Eyia Retreats. You understand the risks associated with the activities offered and agree to follow all instructions so that you may safely participate in classes, workshops, or other activities.
Limited Liability
You hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless, Eyia Retreats and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, instructors, volunteers, employees, sponsors, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on its behalf from any and all liability, claims or expenses, damages, demands, or actions of any kind (collectively, “Claims”) including, without limitation, any Claims based upon any actual or alleged personal injury, illness, death, property damage, defamation, invasion of privacy, false light, distress, misappropriation, negligent or intentional infliction of emotional distress and/or personal rights.
Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of a retreat and for marketing purposes.
Photo/Video Release Form
I hereby grant to Eyia Retreats the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use photographic portraits / images / videos in which I feature that are taken during the course of the retreat to use / republish / copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Eyia Retreats business. I hereby release and discharge Eyia Retreats from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
