A few weeks ago a group of twelve women came together on the incredible island of Milos for the Sole Dance & Yoga Retreat. Why ‘sole’? By dancing and practicing yoga barefoot, you can ground and release your soul and inner spirit, emerging feeling more free and full of life.
These inspiring women gave themselves the permission to take a break from the responsibilities of life and freed their soul by treating themselves with the gift of loving movement, self-expression, self-reflection, and joy!
This retreat not only granted us the opportunity to release our inhibitions, unleash our playful side, and quiet our minds, but it also allowed us to celebrate our bodies and all that it does for us through joyful movement and mindfulness.
One of our favorite experiences of this retreat is our incredible private Boat Day on a catamaran. The day includes incredible views, history and interesting facts about Milos, swim stops in places that can only be reached by boat, fresh lunch on board, Stand-Up-Paddle boarding, riding through caves on the dingy, seeing the incredible Kleftiko, a spot on the southern part of the island with incredible white rock formations and turquoise water. Every year we witness our retreat participants have the time of their life and feel so free and full of life on this day.
We freed our true inner selves and emerged from this retreat feeling more full of life, relaxed and energized, balanced, happy and more in flow than ever before. Our hearts are full of love for life, others, and ourselves. It is a memory that will last a lifetime. We hope you give yourself the permission to have this once-in-a-lifetime experience with us.
This retreat was co-led by Teresa Gonzalez and Joelle Berghoff, a dynamic duo offering yoga, meditation, dancing, and guidance to help our guests connect to their true selves. Katrina Paraskevopoulos, Eyia Retreats Founder, was their host.
