This 11-day Land Journey through Athens and the Peloponnese invites you to experience the soul of Greece– from ancient wonders to serene countryside villages and dramatic seaside fortresses. Your adventure begins and ends in vibrant Athens, where you’ll witness the magnificence of the Acropolis from up close and afar, savor the flavors of the city, and explore its blend of timeless history and modern culture.
From there, venture into the Peloponnese, a region rich with mythology, coastal beauty, and slow-living charm. Explore the romantic town of Nafplio, walk the storied pathways of Mycenae and Epidaurus, taste olive oil in sunlit groves, sip local wines, and immerse into daily rhythms shaped by nature and tradition. Continue on to Monemvasia, a breathtaking medieval stone fortress rising from the sea, where you’ll enjoy seaside luxury, hidden coves, hands-on culinary experiences, and unforgettable views.

Itinerary Details
Athens: Experience Athenian Culture: 3 Nights
You’ll spend 3 nights in a boutique hotel hand-selected by our expert travel team in the heart of the city. During your time you have the option to experience a private tour of the Acropolis or a guided walking food tour to experience the flavors of Greece. As the sun goes down, you’ll have a rooftop dinner as the lights begin to shine on the Acropolis, glowing under the night sky. Your final day will take you outside of the city center and along the Riviera for a curated experience.
Day 1: Arrival in Athens: Ancient Wonders & Athenian Sparkling Nights
Your Adventure in Greece begins in the ancient and majestic city of Athens. Upon arrival you’ll be met by your private transfer who will take you to your luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the city. You’ll have time to wander the lively streets of Athens and see where ancient history meets modern luxury. As you wind down your day, enjoy a reserved dinner spot as the sun goes down and the city sparkles.
Day 2: Experience Athenian Culture
During your second day, you have two options to choose from:
Option 1:
Explore the Acropolis with a private guide, tracing history through marble columns, marvel at treasures that reveal Greece’s rich artistic legacy and experience ancient myths brought to life. You’ll be immersed in the birthplace of democracy stepping back into time to witness artifacts that bring centuries of history into the present.
Option 2:
Savor Athens through its flavors on a curated walking food tour, sampling hidden delicacies in lively neighborhoods, tasting meze (small plates), pastries, and hidden specialties known only to locals.
Your evening ends on a rooftop terrace with dinner, watching the city glow as the Acropolis lights up against the night sky.
Day 3: The Athens Riviera - Seaside Beauty & A Day of Ease
Set out along the Athenian Riviera for a private coastal highlights tour, where you’ll combine genuine local charm, seaside towns and a unique curated experience. Your local guide will show you the best this area has to offer. You’ll visit Cape Sounion, home to the Temple of Poseidon perched dramatically above the sea as you take in the breathtaking coastline. The evening is at your leisure back in the city center.
Nafplio: 3 Nights
Discover the romantic coastal town of Nafplio, Greece’s first capital and one of its most enchanting gems—where Venetian architecture, seaside promenades, and a dramatic hillside fortress set the scene. Settle into your boutique stay and spend your days uncovering the region’s mythical and archaeological wonders, from ancient Mycenae to the legendary theater of Epidaurus. Enjoy a guided journey through the Peloponnese’s storied past, followed by a wine tasting that highlights the celebrated varietals of Nemea. With an additional day at leisure, you can wander Nafplio’s old town, relax by the sea, hike to Palamidi Fortress, or savor long, sun-drenched meals in charming squares. Blending history, culture, and relaxed coastal living, Nafplio offers an elegant and timeless escape.
Day 4: Corinth Canal & Olive Grove Lunch Experience
You will depart Athens with your private driver and head toward the Peloponnese area of mainland Greece. On the way, stop at the engineering marvel of the Corinth Canal, a narrow passage of sapphire water carved between two cliffs.
You will continue into the countryside for an immersive olive oil tasting and farm-to-table lunch set within a peaceful olive grove. Learn about Greece’s sacred olive traditions, taste award-winning varietals, and enjoy a nourishing meal before arriving in the picturesque seaside town of Nafplio– your home for the next three nights.
Day 5: Mythical Sites & Wine Exploration
This morning, you will explore the ancient kingdom of Mycenae, where legends of Agamemnon and the Trojan War come alive. Wander through imposing stone walls, royal tombs, and gateways that have guarded this land for millennia.
You will continue to Epidaurus, home to the world-renowned ancient theater celebrated for its perfect acoustics and healing sanctuary dedicated to Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing, the son of the god Apollo.
Your day will conclude with a local wine tasting, enjoying the flavors of the Peloponnese before an evening dinner with reservations at an Eyia favorite in Nafplio’s enchanting old town.
Day 6: Nafplio at Leisure - Seaside Charm & Slow Living
Today is yours to enjoy Nafplio however you wish. Stroll winding Venetian alleyways, wander seaside paths, shop local boutiques, or sip coffee in the town square beneath blooming bougainvillea. Optional activities may be added upon request.
Monemvasia, 3 Nights
Discover the medieval magic of Monemvasia, an ancient stone fortress city carved into a towering rock rising from the sea. Arrive at your boutique retreat and step into a world of cobbled pathways, Byzantine churches, and sweeping views over the sea. Explore the walled city at your own pace, wandering through its hidden alleys and historic ramparts as stories of emperors, merchants, and poets come to life. During your stay, choose your own adventure: set out on a scenic boat excursion along the dramatic coastline, or immerse yourself in local life with a farm visit and hands-on cooking class celebrating the flavors of the Peloponnese. Blending timeless history, natural beauty, and authentic experiences, Monemvasia offers a truly atmospheric escape.
Day 7: Journey to Monemvasia
Depart Nafplio and travel to Monemvasia, one of Greece’s most romantic and dramatic destinations. This medieval stone fortress rises from the sea like a mythical island.
You’ll have the option to stay inside the walled city in beautifully preserved stone suites, or at a nearby gorgeous luxury estate overlooking the sea.
Day 8: Explore Monemvasia and the Hidden Castle City
Spend the day discovering Monemvasia’s enchanting stone pathways, Byzantine churches, artisan shops, sea-view terraces, and cliffside citadel. Enjoy private transfers to and from the gate, allowing you to explore with ease.
Day 9: Coastal Adventure or Farm-to-Table Immersion
Today you may choose your adventure:
Option 1: Private Boat Excursion
Swim in hidden coves, explore dramatic coastlines, and soak in the crystalline waters of the Peloponnese.
Option 2: Farm Visit & Cooking Experience
Spend the day on a local farm with a guided tour, hands-on cooking class, and homemade Greek lunch prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients.
Athens Riviera: 1-2 Nights
Journey back toward Athens for a final night or two before your departure. Enjoy the Athenian Riviera — a favorite destination of ours combining the best of city access, stunning beaches, incredible dining, nightlife, shopping, nature, and activities.
Day 10: Return to Athens Riviera
Journey back toward Athens for a final night on the sun-kissed Riviera. Enjoy an evening of ease– whether that means a seaside meal, a leisurely walk, or one last Greek sunset.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, a private transfer brings you to the airport for your return home. As you return, you will carry memories of ancient wonders, coastal villages, slow Peloponnesian living, and the magic of Greece.

You can either schedule a complimentary call to meet us and ask questions. Or if you’re ready, book The Land Journey, please complete our service fee and Travel Interest Form, then we will schedule our Welcome Call.
2. Behind-the-Scenes Magic
We will prepare your Land Journey based on your requested dates. You’ll receive a beautifully mapped-out journey, including a quote for review and feedback.
3. We Handle the Bookings
Once you confirm the itinerary and pay the deposit (25% of the trip total), we handle all the bookings: hotels, private transfers, curated experiences, and reservations (up to 3 dinner reservations). We handle it all. Our Air Desk team is also available to manage your flight bookings, if needed.
4. Pre-Trip
Before you go, we’ll walk you through your itinerary with a video emailed to you. You will have access to your itinerary online and in our app. 1-3 days before departure, you will be added to a WhatsApp chat with our Local Manager who will be in touch throughout the trip and available to support you.

How do we work together?
Once you choose one of our curated itineraries, we’ll start with a welcome call to align on your dates and any special priorities or adjustments. From there, we adapt the curated journey to fit your needs and you’ll receive a complete digital itinerary with a full quote. Once you confirm the trip, we take care of all bookings — accommodations, transfers, and key experiences. Your final itinerary is sent ~30 days in advance with a short video walk-through. 1-3 days before departure, you will meet our Local Manager in a WhatsApp chat who will be in touch throughout your experience. To get started complete our travel interest form.
Can the payment be split amongst my party?
Yes, we can seperate the deposit & trip payment links by person or party within your group.
What is not included in the package?
In the Land Journey, the following components are not included:
- International flight
- Travel insurance
- Meals outside of daily breakfast or meals/snacks included in booked activities & experiences
- Transportation with a rental car
- Tipping
- Personal items
How long does it take to plan?
We prefer at least 3-6 months to plan a trip, however, depending on our travel client load we may be able to accept last minute trip requests.
What is your payment policy?
After signing our agreement and completing our service fee, we will then create you a full draft itinerary in our online platform and full price quote in Euros. If you agree, then we will proceed with the following payment policy.
– 25% of trip total as a deposit: Deposit due upon confirming the itinerary (non-refundable)
– 75% remaining of trip total: Due 60 days before trip start date (non-refundable)
Prices are listed in Euro, but final pricing will be sent in USD via invoice in accordance with updated currency conversion.
What is the activity level?
This signature journey has light to moderate activity level with walking on tours and through sites. The activity can be easily increased or decreased depending on your preferences and how you would like to spend your leisure time.
What type of accommodations can I expect?
We have hand-picked 4 & 5 star boutique hotel properities for this experience giving you a comfortable & modern stay with charm and great service.
Can you help me with other destinations?
Yes! Often our travelers combine Greece with another country so we can support the entire trip. For example Greece + Italy, Greece + France, and Greece + Croatia are common requests.
