We lived la dolce vita, “the sweet life,” during this five night, six day day luxury wellness retreat in Tuscany, Italy where indulgence met rejuvenation in a beautiful spa resort in the Italian countryside. It was the perfect getaway—a beautiful chance for our retreats to reconnect with themselves and find ease, flow, and rejuvenation.

We spent the week taking care of ourselves by practicing yoga in the morning and spending the day relaxing in the many natural thermal pools and the spa that was equipped with a sauna, steam room, salt room, and more. We had a really fun outing to a beautiful vineyard for a winery tour, wine tasting, and cooking class. We also had two wellness workshops offered to our retreaters to help elevate their lives once they get back home. Our retreaters left feeling nourished on all levels – physically, spiritually, emotionally, and literally as we indulged in delicious Italian food all week.

This retreat was co-hosted by Eyia Retreats and Black Om Wellness.

This dream retreat took place in the enchanting hills of Tuscany in the beautiful countryside of Italy. We were located just outside of San Casciano dei Bagni, a charming medieval village in the Sienese hills. We were about 2 hours north of Rome and 2 hours south of Florence.

We stayed at Fonteverde Spa Resort, a palace born from a Renaissance-era portico, right on a mineral spring. The portico, commissioned by Grand Duke Ferdinando I de’ Medici, lies in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, amid rolling hills, cypress woods and small churches. The spectacular panoramic pools as well as the ones used for treatments and relaxation are filled with the natural heat of the thermal springs. Fonteverde is a jewel and a timeless haven where you can discover a new dimension of well-being and reach a higher level of harmony.

What one of our 2024 La Dolce Vita retreaters had to say about the experience:

“Absolute luxury. Really loved how relaxing and beautiful this retreat was, everyone on the retreat was lovely, the organization was amazing. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy! Will definitely be doing another retreat hopefully next year.” – Simona
