Hey friends! Italy holds a special place in my heart and I’m so excited to visit again later this year!  The first time I visited the country was 11 years ago, a few months after I graduated from college.  I got an amazing (and unexpected) opportunity to live in Rome for a few months as a teacher/nanny for an Italian family.  While having my “Eat Pray Love” experience, I was able to visit Tuscany and fell in love with the beauty of the countryside. This will be my 3rd time hosting an international retreat and I’m so grateful to be able to travel for work, bring amazing people together and co-host magical experiences! 

I have been a yoga practitioner + self-care advocate for over 10 years now and a 200-hour certified vinyasa instructor for the past 7 years.  As a certified yoga/fitness instructor, life coach and real estate broker, I love helping people elevate their lifestyle. I’m truly passionate about empowering those around me to live a healthier, happier, more balanced lifestyle and inspiring people to connect with their purpose.  I can’t wait to connect with you in Italy!

The portico, commissioned by Grand Duke Ferdinando I de’ Medici, lies in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, amid rolling hills, cypress woods and small churches. The spectacular panoramic pools as well as the ones used for treatments and relaxation are filled with the natural heat of the thermal springs.

Travel Logistics

Eyia Retreats will support you with any travel questions you may have and support your journey to Greece. We can advise you on good flight options and planning gets to be easy!

Please arrive in Rome by 2 pm local time on September 15th. We recommend arriving 1 to 2 days early so you can adjust to the timezone and buffer for any delays. You will need to depart USA one day prior to your desired arrival date. For example, depart USA on September 14th to arrive on September 15th.

We will have a group transfer scheduled at approximately 2 pm local time on September 15th from FCO airport in Rome to our retreat. The final time will be confirmed based on everyone’s arrival times.

We recommend departing after 3pm local time on September 20th or the next day on September 21st.

Itinerary for La Dolce Vita

Day 1: Welcome to Italy!

Welcome to Tuscany! You’ll check in and settle before we gather for a welcome session followed by a delicious 3-course dinner. Sleep soundly knowing you are fully taken care of and ready to experience La Dolce Vita!

 

Day 2

Wake up with the stunning rolling hills & vineyards surrounding you. You’ll greet your body with morning yoga flow with Paris followed by breakfast. Enjoy the day to explore the town, the pool, or the spa before we gather for an evening cocktail class followed by a group dinner. After dinner, prepare for rest with an easeful movement, breathwork, and meditation class with Becca. 

Day 3

Another beautiful morning awaits. You begin your day with morning pilates with Paris followed by breakfast. Enjoy free time – we highly encourage the spa. We will gather in the late afternoon for a workshop followed by a restorative yoga class with Becca. Group dinner rounds out our day as the feeling of calm & ease begins to truly set in.

Day 4

Once again you’ll begin your day with morning movement with a Yoga Flow led by Becca. Today we are off for an adventure! A Cooking Class + Wine Tasting at a winery nestled between Montepulciano and Cortona.

Once we return, you will have some time to relax and enjoy the feeling of being soul-nourished before we gather for a sunset walk.

Enjoy another group dinner followed by pre-rest easeful movement, breathwork and meditation.

Day 5

Wake up feeling peace and tranquility. We begin our morning with movement with Paris followed by breakfast.

On your last full day, enjoy another walk into the village, some time by the pool or another visit to the spa.

We will gather for an afternoon Goal Setting Workshop with Paris.

We will meet for our closing circle and final dinner. 

Day 6

Slowly wake-up and enjoy your final breakfast before we depart back to Rome.

How many people are going to be on this retreat?

This is a small group for 8-12 people.

If I’m going alone, can I book a double room and be paired up with someone?

Yes, however, a shared room is not guaranteed. We recommend inviting someone you would love to share this experience with OR reach out to us info@eyiaretreats.com about a single occupancy room

How do I get there?

1. Fly into Rome, FCO, from your departure city.

2. Arrive by 2PM on September 15th in Rome for our group transfer.

3. The group transfer will take you. to our retreat location, approximately 2 hours from Rome.

What is the weather like?

Summer may be over, but the weather in Tuscany is still warm. We do recommend you pack a light jacket for the evening. Expect a typical daytime high of 27℃ (81℉), and a low of 17℃ (62℉) overnight.

If I have to cancel my trip, is any part of it refundable?

Deposit is nonrefundable.

  • If you cancel 90 days or more before your retreat start date, you will be refunded the full retreat amount (less non-refundable deposit)
  • If you cancel between 66-89 days before your retreat start date, you will refunded (less non-refundable deposit) only if we can fill your spot
  • If you cancel 65 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.

This retreat was just what I needed! I hope to do this again!

The Art of Living Well!!! was amazing! Kat made everything easy and smooth. In addition to the retreat I requested transportation on arrival, an additional night prior to the retreat and at the end of the retreat which was arranged. I enjoyed the activities from sight seeing, to an olive oil tasting, wine tasting, cooking class, and art, with enough down time to relax or shop on your own. We (some of us) started each day with a light stretching/yoga session. The accommodations were luxurious with out being over the top, the food was delicious and a little too plentiful! This retreat was just what I needed! I hope to do this again!

I found the whole retreat experience meaningful. It is difficult to say which particular experience had the most impact, as they all intertwined. Over the course of the week, the activities brought to light areas that I need to focus on in my life. I am full of gratitude that I had the opportunity to attend the retreat in Páros with wonderful women who are now new friends of mine! I needed the time to focus on myself, which will only strengthen my relationships with my family, friends and others.

Katrina’s Milos Retreat was an epic reboot to my fitness and state of mind.

The challenging daily workouts were well balanced with calming/relaxing yoga sessions that helped close the days. The hotel location was a perfect perch above rocks and an ocean of inspiration. Having been to Greece before, I was surprised by the natural beauty of the island. Its unique beaches served not only as fun places to spend the day, but also as places to be mesmerized by the beauty of nature. I enjoyed each day whether I was swimming in crystal blue water, exploring the local town shops and history, or partaking in an art class. And, of course, the amazing Greek food did not disappoint! Following a difficult year, I left the retreat feeling recharged and I’m excited to end the year focusing on being healthy. Thanks for the awesome experience!

I am forever grateful that I decided to go on the Fit Body & Mind Retreat in 2021. Greece and the retreat exceeded my expections. Kat was helpful in planning travel logistics both related to the retreat but also travel I planned prior to the week in Milos. The workouts and yoga practices were creative and differed each day. Each day there was a journal prompt that tied back to the theme of the retreat. Being at the Milos Breeze was the perfect environment for the retreat. The staff was very accommodating and the meal each morning was delicious. We had a handful of selections to eat and all the food was brought to us pool side. LUXRY. Kat planned two tasty group meals from a local restaurant where we got a farm to table experience. These group dinners elevated the experience since we got to try different Greek cuisine that we might not have had if it wasn't for Kat. Each meal allowed us to get closer to our fellow retreaters. My favorite day was our Kleftiko boat day adventure where we got to sail to an uninhibited part of the island that was truly breathtaking. For all that we got the experience on the retreat this experience is an excellent value and one that I will never forgot

Katrina did a fantastic job organizing a retreat that equally focused on mind and body renewal through daily workouts, in depth journal prompts, meditation and yoga.
It felt great to start each day in beautiful Milos with meditation and physical activity and end each day with sunset yoga – practices that I once thought were very difficult to incorporate into my daily routine and now am excited to bring home with me! This retreat taught me more than I thought possible in just a short week, I cant wait for the next one!

Not only do you spend time reflecting on yourself, your goals and your health, you meet so many amazing people that you remember forever. I left feeling refreshed and motivated to come back home and take control of my life again. Kat is an amazing retreat leader and so detail oriented. Although it’s a health retreat, it’s not restrictive and it’s so so fun! Would recommended to anyone and everyone!

I have only positive things to say about Eyia Retreats Company and I am forever thankful that all the stars aligned for me to go on the 2021 Fit Body & Mind Retreat. Not only did I meet amazing people, see breathtaking sights (like Kleftiko and Sarakiniko), drink delicious coffee, and try some of the best meals, but got to disconnect from the day-to-day and really focus on myself. This trip was filled with blissful moments, mindful journal prompts, deep meditation sessions, and healthy movement. Thank you for leading us through daily workout classes, meditation, and yoga. You both put a lot of thought into each class and provided alternatives to fit everyone’s level of comfortability. The host, Kat, was extremely helpful before and during the retreat. She was always available to answer any travel questions, provided amazing guidance, and recommended places to stay if we were arriving early or staying longer. During the retreat, she constantly checked in on everyone, led with kindness, and put so much thought and detail into every activity/event.

The Kat Health Fitness Greece retreat was simply an amazing experience
I met Kat randomly through Instagram & she is 100% real and kind! She made the booking process easy, and responded quickly to all my questions prior to the trip. The Greece retreat was my first solo trip, and it exceeded my expectations! Morning meditation & workouts on the beach, and yoga with an ocean view was breathtaking.. literally while running on the beach! Kat & Fran were great at instructing each class with modifications or ways to challenge yourself. There was nothing but positive vibes the whole week with an amazing group of girls! It truly was a no judgement zone as I did whatever I wanted, when I wanted! Being a working mom and wife back home I was the most relaxed I’ve ever been during this retreat in Milos, Greece. I am forever grateful for this experience, and can’t wait for another #KatHealthFitness Wellness Retreat!

I am truly blessed to have been able to attend Katrina’s 2019 Wellness Retreat on Milos: A week of fun, friendship and fitness, held at a beautiful location in Greece.
Katrina absolutely went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She handled the reservations for our hotel, greeted everyone with individual swag bags, and even walked down to Pollonia very early one morning to select the perfect freshly caught fish for our group dinner. We each experienced an incredible in-room massage, too! Each morning began with meditation held either pool-side or at the beach, followed by fitness workouts. At the end of each day we enjoyed relaxing yoga. Both the fitness and yoga routines were geared for all levels (flailing beginner to standing on your head advanced). And there was plenty of time to relax, read, lay by the pool, or explore the island each day. Efcharistó, Katrina, for the opportunity of a lifetime!

Being my first ever wellness retreat, I didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, it was amazing!
The location, the food, the people were all great and Katrina made everyone feel so comfortable. I came in wanting time to learn to relax and I can honestly say, with the help of meditation, yoga, and workouts, I have never had such a relaxing, rejuvenating week in my life. Can’t wait to go again!
