MEET YOUR ITALY WELLNESS RETREAT LEADERS
Theodora Miller
Theodora’s life path took an abrupt turn when she suffered a traumatic brain injury. Forced into complete isolation and cognitive rest, she turned to painting as a form of meditation during her arduous recovery. Through painting, she found healing, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Ultimately, she traded the boardroom for brushes and transformed her pain into an abundant creative life.
Rooted in her Greek heritage and shaped by personal healing, Theodora Miller creates art and experiences that celebrate beauty, resilience, and life’s sacred moments. Through fine art, ceramics, and her collection of painterly wallpaper and textiles, she offers visual poetry infused with joy and connection. Her creations are found in corporate collections, medical facilities, and in homes around the globe.
A passionate traveler and cultural explorer, Theodora encourages you to embrace the world with ageless curiosity and play through soul-driven workshops and retreats. With her warmth and vibrant personality, she gently guides you how to turn on your “artist eyes” and tune into your creative intuition. Theodora resides in Richmond, Virginia, but her spirit thrives on an island in the Aegean Sea.

OUR DESTINATION: PUGLIA
Set in the heart of Puglia’s Valle d’Itria, our retreat takes place in one of southern Italy’s most enchanting and authentic regions. Often called the Valley of Trulli, this region, is celebrated for its iconic dry-stone trulli houses and their conical roofs, rustic stone walls and a countryside that feels suspended between past and present, creating a landscape that feels both timeless and deeply grounding.
Life here moves at a slower, more intentional pace – mornings invite quiet walks through the countryside, afternoons soften into sun-filled rest, and evenings are meant for lingering meals and shared conversation.
From this peaceful rural setting, you’re perfectly positioned to explore some of Puglia’s most beloved villages and historic towns. The nearby Adriatic coast adds a gentle sea breeze and coastal charm to the experience, just a short drive away with transportation provided by our hotel. This setting offers a true sense of place – rooted in tradition, beauty, and the simple pleasures of Italian living.
