Yoga + Italy = Magic Retreat
Come remember the magic of this life.
There is something magical about Italy — the way the light dances across ancient stone, the lingering meals around a table, the warmth of the people, the beauty of the sea, and the simple pleasure of slowing down enough to actually notice it all.
Join us for seven days and six nights in beautiful Puglia, where yoga, meditation, delicious food, Italian culture, and the beauty of the southern Italian landscape come together to create space to reconnect with yourself — and with the magic that is already here.
Our home for this yoga retreat in Puglia, Italy is Masseria San Nicola, a boutique 17th-century masseria just steps from the sea in Savelletri, surrounded by centuries-old olive groves and quiet gardens. This signature Eyia experience brings together the combined expertise of Stacy and Teresa to guide you through daily yoga and meditation and all the magic this region of Italy has to offer.
This retreat is an invitation to pause, breathe, savor, wander, laugh, connect, and be present. Through daily yoga and meditation, we’ll create moments of stillness and grounding. Outside of practice, we’ll experience the magic of Puglia together: spending a day at a local wine & olive estate for an immersive tasting experience, wandering through charming towns, enjoying meals at a slower pace, and making time to simply relax and take it all in.
You don’t need to be an experienced yogi. You don’t need to come looking for transformation. You’re simply invited to come with a little curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
Because sometimes magic isn’t something we need to find. It’s something we can remember.
MEET YOUR ITALY MAGIC RETREAT TEACHERS
Stacy McGinty
Stacy McGinty has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Practicing life on and off the mat is all about embodying the principles and mindfulness cultivated during yoga practice into everyday experiences.
On the mat, Stacy encourages her students to listen to their inner voice, connecting with the breath, and moving in a way that feels good to the body. This practice of tuning into oneself, honoring one’s body, and finding balance can be extended beyond the mat. Off the mat, it’s about staying present, listening to our intuition, and treating ourselves and others with kindness and compassion.
In vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, and meditation, Stacy’s emphasis on finding moments of clarity and stillness within the pose teaches students to cultivate inner peace and resilience. This can be translated into daily life by finding moments of stillness amidst the chaos, whether it’s through meditation, mindful breathing, or simply taking a pause to appreciate the present moment.
Stacy’s influences, including Jason Crandell, Janet Stone, Tara Brach, and Jack Kornfield, likely inspire her teachings on integrating mindfulness and compassion into yoga practice and life. By drawing from the wisdom of these teachers, Stacy helps her students deepen their understanding of themselves and their connection to the world around them.
Ultimately, Stacy’s intention to hold space for her students to connect with at least one full breath reflects the essence of yoga: the union of mind, body, and spirit. Whether on the mat or off, practicing yoga with Stacy offers an opportunity to cultivate presence, authenticity, and inner peace in every breath and every moment.
Stacy McGinty’s extensive training highlights her dedication to holistic well-being and personal growth. With 500 hours of yoga certification, she has delved deeply into the practice, mastering various aspects of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodologies. This level of certification suggests a commitment to honing her skills and knowledge to offer students a comprehensive and enriching yoga experience.
Additionally, her mindfulness instructor training indicates a focus on cultivating present-moment awareness and cultivating mindfulness both on and off the mat. Mindfulness practices can greatly complement yoga, enhancing the mind-body connection and promoting overall mental and emotional well-being.
Furthermore, Stacy’s certification as a Wellcoach underscores her commitment to supporting individuals in achieving their wellness goals. Wellcoaches are trained to facilitate behavior change and empower clients to make sustainable lifestyle choices that promote health and vitality. Integrating coaching principles into her teaching likely allows Stacy to offer personalized guidance and support to her students as they navigate their yoga practice and wellness journey.
By combining her expertise in yoga, mindfulness, and coaching, Stacy creates a nurturing and empowering environment for her students to explore their practice and cultivate holistic well-being. She currently teaches at Well Studio in Dublin, CA Her diverse skill set equips her to address the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health, helping individuals to thrive both on and off the mat.
Teresa Gonzalez
Teresa is a yogini and lover of nature with a creative heart.
Aside from yoga, she also enjoys movement such as cycling, hiking, swimming, and dancing. She brings over 20 years of yoga experience with a solid practice in Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, and Partner Yoga.
Teresa is passionate about teaching her students how to find peace and bliss in their lives by awakening all the senses to take it all in. She believes any type of meditation is an important daily practice whether that looks like a mindful walk, sitting still, practicing breathwork, etc. This is one of the many tools that supports her teachings.
Her philosophy of taking it all in also involves opening the heart with yoga, inviting restful sleep with meditation, and waking up to beautiful sunrises to fill up the inner vessel of beauty.
Creative expression is also one of her gifts and she enjoys creating art by painting on canvas, paper, walls, on a t-shirt, or just drawing a Mandala in the sand, using her fingers and toes, and decorating them with sticks and stones that she collects nearby.

OUR DESTINATION: PUGLIA
Our retreat is set in the countryside surrounding Fasano, a beautiful corner of Puglia where ancient olive groves, stone masserie, and the Adriatic coast come together. Just outside the town center, the landscape opens into a peaceful world of centuries-old olive trees, sun-drenched fields, and winding country roads — a setting that feels wonderfully removed from the pace of everyday life.
Life here moves at a gentler rhythm: mornings invite quiet walks beneath the olive trees, afternoons unfold slowly in the sunshine, and evenings are made for long Italian dinners, local wine, and easy conversation beneath the stars.
From our peaceful countryside base, you’re perfectly positioned to experience some of Puglia’s most beloved places — from the whitewashed hill town of Ostuni and the trulli of Alberobello to the seaside villages of Savelletri and Monopoli.
This is Puglia at its most soulful: rooted in tradition, surrounded by natural beauty, and an invitation to slow down and savor the simple pleasures of Italian living
