Greek Easter Tour in Corfu:
Culture, Tradition & Celebration
April 29 – May 4, 2027
There is one place in all of Greece where Easter is celebrated unlike anywhere else in the world– and that place is Corfu.
This is your invitation to experience it.
The Eyia Retreats Greek Easter Tour in Corfu is a 5-night, 6-day signature small group journey into the heart of Greek culture, tradition, and island life. Led by Eyia Retreats Founder Katrina Paraskevopoulos, a Greek American who has made Greece her home, this is far more than a holiday trip. It’s an insider’s experience, curated with love, knowledge, and a deep reverence for all that makes Greece so extraordinary.
From the solemn beauty of the Epitaphios candlelight procession to the electric joy of the midnight Anastasi fireworks over the Old Fortress, from Easter lamb feasts at a beloved local taverna to lazy mornings with views of the Ionian Sea– every moment of this tour has been crafted to move you. To connect you. To show you what it truly means to be part of Greek life.
Between the cultural celebrations, you’ll have time to breathe. To slow down. A few mornings begin with guided meditation and gentle movement with Kat to allow you settle into the day with ease and intention. Some afternoons will give you free time to explore the island’s beauty, unwind at the stunning Angsana Spa, wander a local village, or simply sit with a coffee and let it all sink in.
Corfu is radiant in spring. The island is lush and green, the light is golden, and the air carries the scent of wildflowers. It is the perfect backdrop for one of life’s most extraordinary experiences and to celebrate what this holiday is about.
This is a bucket list tour. And you get to live it with an insider, like a Greek!

MEET YOUR HOST
Katrina Paraskevopoulos – Eyia Retreats Founder & Tour Leader
As a Greek American, I grew up spending every summer in Greece with my family. I met my husband there in 2014, and officially moved to Greece in 2023, which has only deepened my love for this country and my commitment to sharing it with you.
Corfu at Easter is something I have wanted to share for a long time. There is no celebration like it in all of Greece– the philharmonic bands, the candlelit Epitaphios processions, the pot-throwing on Holy Saturday morning, the Holy Flame passing from hand to hand at midnight. I will be there with you for all of it, and I can’t wait.
My background in biopsychology, coaching, and wellness forms the foundation of every Eyia experience. On this tour, the wellness moments are light and intentional, designed to help you feel more present, grounded, and open. We will experience one of the most beautiful places on earth, at the most extraordinary time of year.
MEET YOUR CO-LEAD
Mavra Falcon – Co-Lead & Greece Enthusiast
As a proud Greek American, my connection to Greece has always been rooted in family, culture, and tradition. Although I was born in the US, I spent many summers in Greece, and with my family originating from Zakynthos, the Ionian Islands have always felt especially close to my heart.
Coming from a family of musicians, music has always been a meaningful part of my life and heritage, which makes Corfu’s rich musical tradition even more special to me.
As an Eyia Retreats alumni, I have long been encouraging everyone around me to experience Greece. The Eyia Retreats experience transformed my life and I am incredibly honored and excited to co-host this tour with Katrina. I look forward to sharing my love for Greek culture, music, and heritage with everyone joining us on this special journey.

Our Destination: Corfu, Greece
There is a reason travelers have been falling in love with Corfu for centuries.
Nestled in the Ionian Sea in northwestern Greece, Corfu is unlike any other Greek island. Lush, verdant, and layered with history, it carries the mark of Venetian, French, and British influences alongside its deeply Greek soul– a fascinating blend that reveals itself in the island’s architecture, cuisine, traditions, and character.
In spring, Corfu is at its most breathtaking. The island glows with wildflowers, the olive groves shimmer in the breeze, and the Ionian Sea reflects every shade of turquoise and emerald imaginable. The air is soft, the pace is gentle, and there is beauty at every turn.
But it is at Easter that Corfu truly comes alive.
Corfu is widely celebrated as the most spectacular place in all of Greece, perhaps in all of the world, to experience Orthodox Easter. The island’s Easter traditions are entirely its own. On Holy Friday, thousands of candles illuminate a solemn Epitaphios procession through the streets. On Holy Saturday morning, the streets of Corfu Town erupt with the joyful crash of red clay pots thrown from balconies, a unique Corfiot tradition welcoming the Resurrection. And at midnight on Easter Saturday, the Anastasi celebration reaches its crescendo: fireworks burst over the Old Venetian Fortress as the light passes from candle to candle and the words “Christos Anesti — Christ is Risen” fill the night air.
It is the kind of night that reminds you why you travel…why you leave the familiar behind and say yes to something extraordinary. There is nothing quite like standing in that square, candle in hand, as the light passes from person to person and the whole island feels connected and alive.
Beyond Easter, the island offers stunning coastlines, charming villages, a UNESCO-listed Old Town, and the kind of warm, generous hospitality that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Where We’ll Stay
Your home for this tour is the magnificent Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa, a breathtaking clifftop property perched above the shimmering Ionian Sea in Benitses, just a short drive from Corfu Town.
Angsana Corfu is where contemporary luxury meets the natural beauty of Greece. With sweeping panoramic sea views, elegant rooms and suites, multiple pools, and a world-class spa, it offers everything you need to feel truly restored. This is a place designed for total indulgence, and we’ve chosen it intentionally, because how you feel during travel matters as much as what you do.
The hotel’s Angsana Spa is a highlight in itself, offering a full menu of rejuvenating treatments– and as an Eyia traveler, you’ll enjoy an exclusive 15% discount to use at your leisure.
Surrounded by the serene landscape of the Ionian coast, with the gentle sound of the sea and golden Greek light streaming through every window, Angsana Corfu is the perfect sanctuary from which to experience one of Greece’s most extraordinary islands.
