Theodora Miller

Theodora’s life path took an abrupt turn when she suffered a traumatic brain injury. Forced into complete isolation and cognitive rest, she turned to painting as a form of meditation during her arduous recovery. Through painting, she found healing, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Ultimately, she traded the boardroom for brushes and transformed her pain into an abundant creative life.

Rooted in her Greek heritage and shaped by personal healing, Theodora Miller creates art and experiences that celebrate beauty, resilience, and life’s sacred moments. Through fine art, ceramics, and her collection of painterly wallpaper and textiles, she offers visual poetry infused with joy and connection. Her creations are found in corporate collections, medical facilities, and in homes around the globe.

A passionate traveler and cultural explorer, Theodora encourages you to embrace the world with ageless curiosity and play through soul-driven workshops and retreats. With her warmth and vibrant personality, she gently guides you how to turn on your “artist eyes” and tune into your creative intuition. Theodora resides in Richmond, Virginia, but her spirit thrives on an island in the Aegean Sea.

OUR DESTINATION: ATHENS & PELOPONNESE

Our time begins in Athens, the capital of Greece. Athens is a historical center of Europe and offers so much history & culture. You will have the chance to tour Acropolis hill and the Parthenon as well as the museum.

Our retreat combines the best of city and country and after 1 night in Athens we will take you 2 hours outside of Athens into Peloponnese where we will be in the country outside of Nafplio.

We will experience the tranquility of the country while being only a 10-15 minute drive from Nafplio. Nafplio is a picturesque coastal town that is greatly influenced from its time under Venetian rule. The town gives you a feeling of old-world Europe mixed with Italian and Greek architecture. You will have a chance to explore Nafplio as well as experience more art, food, wellness, and culture.

An absolute dreamy combination.

WHERE WE’LL STAY

In Athens we will be staying at Xendocheio Milos a luxury 5 star boutique hotel located a few blocks away from Syntagma Square. This hotel gives Greek essence with contemporary & luxury design. We have intentionally selected each accommodation to match our retreat vision and give you a relaxing and Greek experience. Your retreat begins.

The second stay is at Opora Country Living outside of Nafplio in the country-side. Opora Country Living offers us a landscape of rare beauty, with traditional, picturesque, romantic, and tranquil accommodations in the countryside. It’s the perfect combination of traditional farm house meets rustic elegance. Your living quarters are nestled among the olive trees and orange trees in this family-owned estate. Wander through the grounds and down lavender-lined paths to enjoy two swimming pools, an open air pergola reserved for massages al fresco (optional), a chapel, and a farm area at the top of hill overlooking the beautiful countryside. Welcome to simple and slow living.

Eyia Retreats made my entire Greece trip effortless, but their support really proved how amazing they are. I accidentally left my passports on Paros while traveling to Santorini, and what could have been a complete disaster turned into a non‑issue thanks to their team. As soon as I reached out, they immediately jumped into action. They coordinated someone on Paros to pick up the passports and hand‑deliver them straight to my hotel in Santorini. If it weren’t for them, I would’ve lost an entire day going back to retrieve them. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine care are unmatched. Eyia Retreats doesn’t just plan trips — they truly take care of you. Highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Greece.

Our experience with Eyia’s Retreats was truly exceptional from start to finish. One of the things we appreciated most was the planning process. Having a consultation before the trip and another meeting right before departure ensured that every question was answered and that we felt completely prepared. We were actually able to relax on vacation. Katrina created a thoughtful itinerary that perfectly balanced incredible experiences with plenty of time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the stunning accommodations. Every detail was handled seamlessly. We always felt incredibly well cared for. Our drivers were consistently punctual, professional, and transported us in comfortable, beautiful vehicles. We felt safe throughout the entire trip, and it was reassuring to know that Katrina and her team were checking in regularly to make sure everything was going perfectly. What really set Eyia’s Retreats apart was the attention to the cultural experience. Katrina helped us immerse ourselves in Greece by recommending local foods to try, sharing a Greek music playlist for the trip, and pointing us toward authentic places to shop for souvenirs. If any question or issue arose, she addressed it immediately. These thoughtful touches made the experience feel much more meaningful and personal. We also loved the unique theme Katrina created for each island. It helped us focus on what made each destination special and ensured we got the most out of every stop along the way. One of the highlights of our trip was the welcome dinner with Katrina. It felt less like meeting a travel planner and more like catching up with a longtime friend. As fellow Americans, it was especially interesting to hear what made her fall in love with Greece and what inspired her to share it with others. Eyia’s Retreats delivered a level of service, personalization, and peace of mind that exceeded our expectations. We returned home with incredible memories and without any of the stress that often comes with planning international travel. We wholeheartedly recommend Eyia’s Retreats to anyone considering a trip to Greece; you will be in the best hands possible.

This VIP retreat was something truly special and unlike anything else. After attending my first retreat last year, I can honestly say it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made in myself. Having now experienced both a group and a private retreat, I’ve realized how deeply rewarding the one-on-one experience can be — not just personally, but professionally too. It creates a level of accountability for the person you’re becoming. What once felt unfamiliar has now become a natural part of my growth and journey. This retreat has transformed me once again. While last year was centered around reflection, this year is about manifestation — putting everything I’ve learned and practiced into action to bring my desires to life. Kat is an amazing individual and has truly changed my life for the better. As a mentor, and as a human being. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed at a moment in my life when I did not know I needed it. 🤍

We worked with Kat to plan our honeymoon, and it was truly the best trip of our lives! From the very beginning, she took the time to understand exactly what kind of experience we wanted and made the planning process so smooth and enjoyable. Kat provided us with a budget tracker to stay organized and an easy-to-use app with our full itinerary, hotel details, and activity schedules — everything we needed right at our fingertips. She also presented multiple hotel and activity options tailored to our preferences, helping us create the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Throughout our two-week trip in Italy, Kat was incredibly responsive and professional. Any time we needed to make a change or had a question, she handled it immediately with kindness and efficiency. Her attention to detail went above and beyond — we were even greeted with a sweet, thoughtful gift from her at several of our hotels, which made everything feel that much more special. We can’t recommend Kat and her company enough. If you’re looking for a travel agent who is organized, responsive, and genuinely cares about making your trip unforgettable, she’s the one to trust!
